Stake
Register a hot key for your GPU machine and stake e/acc behind it. The coordinator only admits nodes whose stake is at or above min_stake, active and not paused.
Minimum stake
Target: about $300, within a $200–600 band, kept there by rules-based re-pegs of min_stake. Re-pegs are planned, not live.
Connect the wallet that will own your node
Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and other Wallet Standard wallets work. The wallet signs stake and claim transactions; your GPU machine only gets a separate hot key.
